Clonal analysis of vertebrate myogenesis: V. Nerve-muscle interaction in chick limb bud chorio-allantoic membrane grafts
[摘要] Theclonablecellpopulationsofinnervatedandnoninnervatedchorio-allantoicmembrane(CAM)graftsofearlychickembryolegbudshavebeencompared.Co-graftsofstage21or22legbudswithstage22–26spinalcordsegmentsexhibitaneartwofoldgreaterproportionofclonablemusclecellsthannoninnervatedcontrolgrafts(legbudalone).Astatisticallysignificantincreaseisapparentbythe8thgraftday.Graftsconstructedofstage17–20legbudsplusspinalcordandgrownforupto11daysdonotexhibitaproportionofmyoblastsgreaterthannoninnervatedcontrols.Thisstimulationofrelativemusclecellcontentsuggestsaroleofmotornervesinregulationofthesingle-cellpopulationofdevelopingskeletalmuscle.
