[摘要] Bothα-andβ-ecdysoneincreasedthegrowthofmonocellularspheresinprimaryculturesoftwodipteranspecies,AedestaeniorhynchusandDrosophilamelanogaster.Alimitedamountofdifferentiationwasevidentinthesecretionofoneormoremembranes,theformationofcellularbridgesandtheappearanceofsetae-likestructures.AprocessresemblingecdysiswasalsoobservedinoneoftheD.melanogastercultures.
