Variations in the amounts of RNA polymerase forms I, II and III during preimplantation development in the mouse☆
[摘要] DNA-dependentRNApolymerasehasbeenmeasuredatvariousstagesofpreimplantationdevelopmentinmouseembryos.ThetotalRNApolymeraseactivityperembryoincreasesrapidlyfromthe8-cellstagetotheblastocyststage.Studieswithlowα-amanitinconcentrations,whichinhibitformIIRNApolymerase,andhighα-amanitinconcentrations,whichinhibitbothformIIandIIIRNApolymerasesindicatethattherelativeproportionsofthethreeformschangesignificantlyduringpreimplantationdevelopment.ThechangeswhichoccurinthetypesandlevelsofRNApolymeraseappeartoparallelcorrespondingchangesinthesynthesisofthemajorclassesofRNA.
