Scanning electron microscopy of embryonic neural retina cell surfaces☆
[摘要] Scanningelectronmicroscopyofsurfacemorphologyofembryonicneuralretinacellsinsuspensionrevealedstrikingage-dependentdifferencesbetweentrypsin-dissociatedandEGTA-separatedcells(EGTA,ethylenebis[oxyethylenenitrolo]tetra-aceticacid).Trypsinizedcellswerecharacterizedbynumerousfilopodialprocesses,rufflesandarelativelysmooth-texturedcellmembrane.EGTAtreatmentresultedinonlypartialcellseparation,paucityorabsenceofelongatedfilopodia,andacoarse-texturedcellmembrane.Thefindingsarebrieflyconsideredinthecontextofage-dependentdifferencesinretinacellinteractions,cellsurfaceproperties,andtheeffectsofthetwomethodsofcellseparationonthecellsurface.
