Adhesive properties of cell ghosts derived from Dictyostelium discoideum☆
[摘要] Ghostshavebeenpreparedfromstationaryphasecellsandfromdispersed,postaggregativecellsofDictyosteliumdiscoideum.Theyconsistoflargelyintactplasmamembranescontainingafewpartlyorcompletelyemptyvesiclesandaredevoidofnuclei,ribosomes,solublecytoplasmandATP.Theseghostsretaintheadhesivepropertiesofthecellsfromwhichtheywerederived,indicatingthat,inD.discoideum,celladhesionoccursviaasimpleinteractionbetweenplasmamembraneswhichisneitherATPdependentnormetabolicallydriven.Certaindivalentcationsappeartoactascofactorsfortheadhesivereactionsbetweentheghosts.
