Different mechanisms for the induction of acetylcholinesterase in neuroblastoma cells
[摘要] Neuroblastomacells,inclidingclonesselectedforresistancetodibutyryl-cAMPorfortheirabilitytosurviveandmultiplyat40°C,wereusedtostudydifferencesintheinductionofacetylcholinesteraseactivitybydibutyryl-cAMPand5-bromodeoxyuridine.Innonselectedneuroblastomacellsbothofthesecompoundsinducedthisenzymeactivity.ActinomycinDinhibitedinductionby5-bromodeoxyuridinebutdidnotinhibitinducionbydibutyryl-cAMP.Enzymeactivityindibutyryl-cAMP-resistantcellswasinducedby5-bromodeoxyuridineandnotbydibutyryl-cAMP.Inthetemperature-resistantcells,inductionby5-bromodeoxyuridinewaslowerat40thanat37°Candinductionbydibutyryl-cAMPwashigherat40thanat37°C.Thisdifferenceininductionatthetwotemperatureswasassociatedwithahigherinhibitionofcellmultiplicationat40°Cbybothcompounds.Theresultsindicatethat5-bromodeoxyuridineanddibutyryl-cAMPinduceacetylcholinesteraseactivityinneuroblastomacellsbydifferentmechanisms.
