[摘要] Changesinlabeledcortisolbindingtosolublecytoplasmicproteinsofratliverandthymusduringdevelopmentandageingofanimalshavebeenobserved.Therelationshipofageandcortisolbindingtoafractionofsolubleliverproteinsprecipitatedat50%saturationwithammoniumsulfatedisplayedtwomaxima:Thefirstoneontheseventhdayofpostnatallifeandthesecondoneat2.5monthsofage.Bindingofhormonetomacromoleculesofthesamefractionpreparedfromolderanimalswaslessefficient.Almostthesamepicturehasbeenobtainedwhentotalboundactivitytomacromolecularcytosolfractionwasexpressedpermilligramofdryweightofliver.Bindingoflabeledcortisoltototalcytosolmacromoleculesofliverandthymuswasmostefficientin3-month-oldanimalsanddecreasedafterthat,whichisofinterestinviewoftotallyoppositeeffectsofglucocorticoidsuponvariousbiosyntheticprocessesoftheseorgans.
