DNA-dependent RNA-polymerases from Artemia embryos: Characterization of polymerases I and II from nauplius larvae☆
[摘要] PartialpurificationandcharacterizationofDNA-dependentRNA-polymerasesfromnaupliuslarvaeofthebrineshrimp,Artemiasalina,aredescribed.FractionationofsolubilizedRNA-polymerasesoncolumnsofDEAE-celluloseyieldedpartiallypurifiedpreparationsofRNApolymerasesIandII.Thepropertiesoftheseenzymeswerefoundtobesimilartopropertiesofcorrespondingenzymesfromotheranimalsources.AsignificantchangeintherelativeamountsofpolymerasesIandIIoccursbetween36and72hrofdevelopment.Polymeraseactivityobtainedfrom36-hrnaupliiconsistedofapproximatelyequalamountsofpolymerasesIandII,whereaspolymeraseIIaccountedformorethan80%oftheactivityrecoveredfrom72-hrnauplii.Totalpolymeraseactivitywaslowerat72thanat36hr.ThesignificanceofthesechangesinrelationtothedecreaseinRNAsynthesisinvivothatoccursafter36hrisdiscussed.
