Studies on the bristle pattern of Drosophila
[摘要] Somemutantallelesatthesclocushaveapartialsuppressingeffectonthebristle-removingactionofDichaete.Thissuppressioniscorrelatedwiththeeffectofthescalleleoncertainbristlesofthehead,ratherthanwitheffectsonthoseofthethorax—thoughthemeasuredsuppressioneffectitselfconcernsthoracicbristles.Adevelopmentalinterpretationissuggested,basedontheprobablepseudoallelicrelationbetweenachaeteandscute.
