Chimerism for three genetic systems in tetraparental mice☆☆☆
[摘要] Ninetetraparentalmiceweregeneratedbyfusingpairsofeight-cellstageembryos.EachpairconsistedofoneC57B1/10SNJandoneC3H/HeJembryo.Thesestrainsdifferatmanygeneticloci.Inthisfirstcommunication,wereportthatsimultaneouschimerismisreadilyobtainablewhenusinggammaglobulin,hemoglobin,andcoatcolormarkerdifferences.Theratiosofchimerismobtainedforgammaglobulinbearaninterestingrelationtothoseforhemoglobininagivenanimal.Therelevanceofthisfindingtothestemcelloriginsofthesetwosystemsisdiscussed.Simultaneouschimerismforallthreesystemsalsopermitsthecalculationofanaveragelowerlimitforthenumberofcellsinitiallyinducedtoformeachsystem.
