Brain and sperm cell surface antigen (NS-4) on preimplantation mouse embryos☆
[摘要] Antiserumpreparedinrabbitagainst4-day-oldmousecerebellum(anti-NS-4serum)reactsinthecomplement-mediatedcytotoxicitytestwithunfertilizedandfertilizedmouseeggs,cleavagestageembryos,andcellsofthetrophoblastandinnercellmassofthemouseblastocyst.Thisactivityisspecificallyremovedbyabsorptionofantiserumwithadultmousebrainandepididymalspermbutnotwithadultliver,spleen,kidney,andthymocytes.Theantiserumreactsmoststronglywithcellsofthetrophoblastandinnercellmassand,inorderofdecreasingreactivity,withfour-toeight-cellstageembryos,zygotes,unfertilizedeggs,andtwo-cellstageembryos.
