Temperature-sensitive zygote defective mutants of Caenorhabditis elegans☆
[摘要] Threegeneticallycomplementingtemperature-sensitivemutantsofCaenorhabditiseleganshavebeenstudied.Eachofthethreemutantshastwocriticaltimesoftemperaturesensitivityandtwodistinctivecorrespondingphenotypes.Exposuretohightemperatureduringgonadogenesisblockstheproductionofzygotes.Exposureofadultstohightemperatureinterruptsembryogenesisofthezygotesbeingproduced.Eachofthemutantscarriesanautosomalmutationwithamaternaleffect.Thesemutantsindicatethattheindividualtemperature-sensitivefunctionsarerequiredatleasttwiceduringdevelopmentandthatearlyembryogenesisisdependentonthecontributionofthesefunctionsfromthematernalgonad.
