The cell cycle and retinal histogenesis in fidget mutant mice
[摘要] Theautoradiographicmethodusing[3H]thymidinehasshownthattheautosomalrecessivemutantgenefidget(genesymbolfi)prolongingthepresyntheticperiodofthecellcycleintheretinalanlageinhomozygotesretardsthetransitionofretinalcellstothedifferentiatedstate.Someretinalcellsofnormalembryos(+/+)starttheirtransitiontothedifferentiatedstateonthe11thdayofembryogenesis,whileinfifiembryosthisprocessstartsonlyonthe12thday.Anactivetransitionofretinalcellstothedifferentiatedstateespeciallyintheperipheralzoneofthemutantretinatakesplace2dayslaterascomparedtonormalembryos.Thenumberofdifferentiatingcellsintheretinaofmutantsatthestagesofdevelopmentstudiedisconsiderablylowerascomparedtothenorm.Theanalysisofthecellcycleparametersin15-dayembryoshasshownthatinthemutantstheretinaislessmatureascomparedto+/+embryos.Thesequenceoftransitionofvariouscelltypestothedifferentiatedstateintheretinaoffifiembryosisthesameasinthenorm.Genefidgetseemstointerferewithproliferativeratherthancritical(quantal)cellcyclesinthedevelopingmouseretina.
