Myosin synthesis by fusion-arrested chick embryo myoblasts in cell culture☆
[摘要] Thesynthesisandaccumulationofmyosinwasstudiedinsubculturesoffusion-blocked,postmitoticembryonicchickenmyogeniccells.Electronmicrographsandfluorescentmicroscopywithantimyosinrevealedthatmost,ifnotall,ofthesecellscontainmyosin.Itwasalsofoundthatthesecellsarecapableofaccumulatingmyosinatratescomparabletofusedcells.IncipientT-tubuleformationwasalsopresentinsomeoftheblockedcells.ItisconcludedthatcellfusionisnotaprerequisiteformyosinsynthesisandaccumulationorT-tubuleformationduringmyogenesisinvitro.
