[摘要] Thedivergentpostnataldevelopmentalcoursesofhistidasecatalyticactivityinratliverandskinofthesameanimals,viz.,aprogressiveriseinhepaticenzymeactivityandasimultaneousdeclineinepidermalactivity,hasbeenshowntobeaccompaniedbycorrespondingalterationsinthequantitiesofthesameenzymeprotein.Thesetissuespecificdevelopmentalchangesinenzymeamounthavebeenshown,furthermore,tobearesultofselectiveparallelalterationsinhistidasesyntheticrates.Ratesof[3H]leucineincorporationintohistidase,isolatedbyimmunoprecipitation,relativetoincorporationratesintototalsolubletissueprotein,increaseinliver,whilesimultaneouslydecreasinginskinofthesameanimalsduringpostnataldevelopment.
