[摘要] Intheamphibianeggthefutureplaneofbilateralsymmetryoftheembryoispredominantlyfixedbythespermatozoon.TheinjectionofspermhomogenateintothesubcorticalregionoftheeggofthetoadBufoarenarumshowsthatstructuralintegrityofthespermcellisnotrequiredforthissymmetrizationprocess.Thus,inallhomogenate-treatedeggsthefuturedorsalsideoftheembryo,indicatedbythegreycrescent,appearedattheoppositesideoftheinjectionpoint.NosucheffectwasobservedaftertheinjectionofRingersolution.
