[摘要] ChickembryodorsalrootandsympatheticgangliaculturedonuntreatedtissuecultureplatesexhibitedadependenceuponbothRNAandproteinsynthesisfortheexpressionofnervegrowthfactor-mediatedneuriteoutgrowth.NeuriteoutgrowthwasnolongerdependentuponRNAsynthesis,butremaineddependentuponcontinuedproteinsynthesiswhengangliawereculturedinplasmaclots,oroneithercollagenorpoly-l-lysinecoatedplates.Nervegrowthfactor-inducedneuriteoutgrowthwasdependentuponthepresenceofeithermicroexudates,whichmayplayanimportantroleasfunctionalcomponentsofthesubstratumacrosswhichneuritesmigrate,orexogenoussubstratasuchascollagen,fibrin,orpoly-l-lysine.
