[摘要] Retinaandspinalcordneuronsfromchickembryosattachtoculturesubstratesandextendneurites.Thereisastatisticallysignificantage-relateddecreaseinthepercentageandaveragelengthofneuritesformedin24-hrculturesofchickretinaandspinalcordneuronsbetween6and16daysofembryonicage.Thedevelopmentaldecreaseofneuriteextensionmaybeimportantforsynaptogenesisinthedevelopingnervoussystem.
