Changes in the distribution of type IV collagen, laminin, proteoglycan, and fibronectin during mouse tooth development
[摘要] Thedistributionofcertainbasementmembrane(BM)componentsincludingtypeIVcollagen,laminin,BMproteoglycan,andfibronectinwasstudiedindevelopingmousemolarteeth,usingantibodiesorantiseraspecificforthesesubstancesinindirectimmunofluorescence.Attheonsetofcuspalmorphogenesis,typeIVcollagen,laminin,andBMproteoglycanwerefoundtobepresentthroughoutthebasementmembranesofthetooth.Fibronectinwasabundantundertheinnerenamelepitheliumattheregionofdifferentiatingodontoblastsandalsointhemesenchymaltissues.Afterthefirstlayerofpredentinhadbeensecretedbytheodontoblastsattheepithelial-mesenchymalinterface,lamininremainedincloseassociationwiththeepithelialcellswhereastypeIVcollagen,BMproteoglycan,andfibronectinweredistributeduniformlythroughoutthisarea.Laterwhendentinhadbeenproducedandtheepithelialcellshaddifferentiatedintoameloblasts,basementmembranecomponentsdisappearedfromthecuspalarea.ThesematrixcomponentswerenotdetectedindentinwhileBMproteoglycanandfibronectinwerepresentinpredentin.Theobservedchangesinthecollagenousandnoncollagenousglycoproteinsandtheproteoglycanappeartobecloselyassociatedwithcelldifferentiationandmatrixsecretioninthedevelopingtooth.
