Immunofluorescent localization of PGK-1 and PGK-2 isozymes within specific cells of the mouse testis☆
[摘要] Theubiquitousisozymeofphosphoglyceratekinase,PGK-1,andthetestis-specificisozyme,PGK-2,havebeenlocalizedtospecificcellsofthetestisbyindirectimmunofluorescenceonBouin'sfixedtestissections.TheearliestcellofthespermatogenicseriesinwhichPGK-2isdetectablebyimmunofluorescenceistheStage12spermatid.Theintensityoffluorescenceincreasesasthespermatidsprogresstolaterstagesandisstronginbothreleasedspermatidsandtheirresidualbodies.PGK-2isnotdetectableinpremeioticgerminalcellsorsomaticcellsofthetestis.SpecificfluorescenceforPGK-1islocalizedtothesomaticcellsofthetestis:theinterstitialandSertolicells.
