[摘要] Exposureofsternomastoidmusclesexcisedfrom16-dayembryonicratstomediumdepletedofCa2+orcontaininghighconcentrationsofKClleadstoextensivelossofaggregatesofacetylcholinereceptorsnewlyformedatthemotorendplateregion.UponrestorationofCa2+orremovalofexcessKCl,receptoraccumulationsreappearinthecentralregionsofaboutone-thirdofthemusclefibers.ThissusceptibilityofjunctionalAChRaggregateslastsonlyashortwhileduringdevelopmentoftheneuromuscularjunction.Bythetimeofbirth,endplatereceptoraggregateshavebecomeresistanttothesetreatments.
