In vitro development of testis and ovary from indifferent fetal mouse gonads☆
[摘要] Urogenitalcomplexescomposedofgonadalprimordiaandmesonephroiwereisolatedfrommousefetusesbeforetheonsetofmorphologicalsexdifferentiationandculturedinvitrofor3to10days.Indifferentgonadsexplantedonthe11thdayofgestation(d.g.)developedintotestesorovariesafter3to5daysofculture,whilegonadsexplantedonthe10thd.g.remainedundifferentiatedthroughoutthecultureperiod.Thedevelopmentofindifferentgonadsinvivofromthestageofthe10thd.g.tothatofthe11thd.g.appearedtobecrucialtobothtesticularandovariandifferentiationinvitro.
