Regulation of phenotype in somatic cell hybrids derived by fusion of teratocarcinoma cell lines with normal or tumor-derived mouse cells☆
[摘要] Thephenotypesofsomaticcellhybridsbetweenmurineembryonalcarcinomacelllines,F9BrdU7C12andPCC4aza1,andnormalmurinespleniclymphocytesorthymoma-derivedcelllineswerecompared.Analysisofmorphologyinvivoandinvitroofcellsurfacemarkersandofthekaryotypeoftheseclonedhybridcellsdidnotrevealanysimplemechanismfortheregulationofthephenotypeofsuchhybrids.Hybridsofeithertheembryonalcarcinomacellphenotypeorofadifferentiatedmorphology(resemblingneitherparentalcell)butnotoflymphoidmorphologycanbederivedfromfusionsofthistype.Moreover,transitionfromonephenotypetotheother(ECC→differentiatedcellanddifferentiatedcell→ECC)canbefoundwithpassageofclonallyderivedhybridcelllines.Coordinatecontrolofthephenotypicmarkersofthestateofdifferentiationinthesehybridcellswasfound.
