The ontogeny of fructose diphosphate aldolase B in the chick☆
[摘要] Thethreehomologousparentalfructose-1,6-diphosphatealdolasesA,B,andChavepreviouslybeendemonstratedinvertebrates.Althoughfive-memberedA–B,A–C,andB–Chybridsetsarereadilyproducedinvitrobyreversibledissociationoftheappropriateparentalenzymes,onlyA–BandA–Csetshavebeenfoundheretoforeinvertebratetissues.Inthepresentstudies,cellulose-polyacetateelectrophoresisfollowedbyspecificenzymaticstaininghasdemonstratedtheexistenceofB–Chybridsinvivo.B–Chybridswerefoundinearlyembryonicchickliver(5±to8±days)andinyolksacmembranes.ThealdolaseactivityprofilessuggestatransitioninsynthesisfromaldolaseCtopredominantlyaldolaseBsubunitsduringearlychickliverembryogenesis.ThefactthatB–ChybridsweredetectedsuggeststhattheCtoBtransitiontakesplacewithinindividualcellsandisnotduetothepreferentialproliferationofcellscontainingaldolaseB.ThetimingoftheCtoBtransitioninliverisconsistentwiththeproposedroleofaldolaseBingluconeogenesis.Finally,thepresentstudiesarediscussedinrelationtootheraldolasetransitionsobservedtobeassociatedwithvertebratetissueembryogenesisandwithcertaindiseasestates.
