The development of enzymes of phosphocreatine biosynthesis in the rat
[摘要] Thedevelopmentofcreatinekinaseofskeletalmusclesofforelegs,hindlegs,heart,andbrainoftherathasbeenstudied.Theactivityofthisenzymeofskeletalmusclesoftheforelegswasfoundtoincreasewithageinabiphasicmanner:a7-foldincreasewasobservedintheperiod5–10daysafterbirthfollowedbya3-foldincreaseintheperiod15–20daysafterbirth.Thedevelopmentofenzymesinvolvedincreatinebiosynthesishasalsobeenstudied.Theactivityofglycinetransaminidaseofkidneycortexwasfoundtobelowinfetallifeandincreasedabout10timesinthe30-dayperiodafterbirth.Theactivityofguanidinoacetatetransmethylasewashighinfetalratliveranddecreasedaroundbirthtotheadultlevel.Theresultsindicatethatthefetalrathasthecapacityforthebiosynthesisofcreatine.
