Étude expérimentale de la différenciation des cellules de l'éponge au cours de son développement
[摘要] Theprincipalcelltypesofthefree-swimminglarvaofMycalecontarenii(Martens)arecitedandtheirdistributioninthelarvaisdescribed.Bytheexcisionofdifferentpartsofthelarva,culturesoflarvalcellsareobtainedwithonecell-typeeithergreatlypreponderantorentirelyabsent.Theculturesofthecentralpartofthelarvacontainalargenumberofarchaeocytesandcollencytes,buttheydonotcontainanycellsofthelarvalciliatedepithelium.Thearchaeocytesformsmallgroupswhichdifferentiateprogressivelyintochoanoblastsandchoanocytes.Thefunctionalspongeisobtained3–4daysafterthebeginningoftheexperiment.Theculturesofthelarvalciliaryepithelium,containingalsoacertainnumberofcollencytesandsomearchaeocytes,transformrapidlyintoagreatnumberofnormalflagellatechambers.Epithelialcellsthatarenotincludedinchamberscytolyze.Itisconcludedthattheciliaryepithelialcellsformtheflagellatechambersinthecourseofthenormaldevelopmentofthespongeandthisistheiruniquecapacity.Theconstructionofthethreedimensionalstructure,necessaryforthecellorganization,isduetotheactivityofthecollencytes;thepinacocytescannotreplacecollencytesinthisprocess.Archaeocytescandifferentiatebothintothechoanocytesandintothecollencytes,sotheyaretotipotent.Celldifferentiationduringthemorphogenesisanddevelopmentofspongesisdiscussed.
