[摘要] ActinomycinDdidnotmarkedlyinhibitproteinsynthesisinearlyseaurchinembryosbutdidinhibitproteinsynthesisaftertheearlyblastulastage.Thespecificactivitiesandelectrophoreticpatternsofthel-malatedehydrogenaseofembryosgrowninthepresenceofactinomycinDasmuchas22hourswerenotdifferentfromthoseofuntreatedembryos.Puromycininhibitedcelldivision,embryonicdevelopment,andtheincorporationofaminoacidintoprotein,butwaswithouteffectonthespecificactivityorelectrophoreticpatternofl-malatedehydrogenase.Thus,themalatedehydrogenasepresentinunfertilizedseaurchineggsappearstobestableduringearlyembryonicdevelopmentanddifferentiation.
