Serial back-transfers of nuclei in experiments involving two species of frogs
[摘要] Mid-blastulanucleiofRanasylvatica(♀)ЧRanapipiens♂androgenetichybridsweretransferredtoenucleatedovaofRanapipiens.Themaximumstagereachedwasanearlygastrulaoranabnormalneurula.Inordertotestthepossibilityofrecoverybyadditionalexposureofthenucleitotheirownspecies-specificcytoplasm,thenucleiofablastulaofthisfirstback-transferweretransferredonceagaintoenucleatedovaofR.pipiens.Thiswasrepeatedforfiveback-transfers.Therewasnoimprovementindevelopment.ThechangethatoccursintheR.pipiensnucleusduringitsreplicationinR.sylvaticacytoplasmisirreversible,whentestedinthismanner.
