Effects of haploidy and hybridization on the activities of four dehydrogenases in frog embryos☆
[摘要] Totalactivitiesoffourenzymes,malatedehydrogenase,lactatedehydrogenase,isocitratedehydrogenase,and6-phosphogluconatedehydrogenaseweremeasuredindiploidandandrogenetichaploidembryosresultingfromcrossesofRanapipienspipiensandRanapipienssphenocephala.DevelopmentalcurvesoftheseenzymeactivitieswerecomparedwiththeDNAcontentoftheembryos.Theresultssuggestthatdecreasedtotalenzymeactivityinabnormalandrogenetichaploidhybridsisduetotheeffectsofreducedcellularproliferationandcellulardegradationcausedbyageneralnucleocytoplasmicincompatibility,nottothefactorsdirectlyaffectingthesynthesisofeachenzyme.
