Changes in activity of enzymes metabolizing glucose 6-phosphate during development of the basidiomycete Schizophyllum commune☆
[摘要] DuringtheformationoffruitbodiesinthebasidiomyceteSchizophyllumcommune,therearechangesinthespecificactivitiesoftheenzymesutilizingglucose6-phosphate.Theseincludea50%increaseintherelativeamountofglucose-6-phosphatedehydrogenasefollowedbyadecreaseinthisenzymeanda90%decreaseinphosphoglucomutaseactivity.Thisresultsina10-foldchangeintherelationshipbetweenthesetwoenzymesduringdevelopment.Theactivitiesinseveralmutantswereexaminedandabnormalenzymelevelswerefoundinsomecases.Theactivityof6-phosphogluconatedehydrogenasewasalsoexamined,anditscontributiontotheassayoftheotherenzymeswasdetermined.
