[摘要] Histonesfromnucleiofnondividinglensfiberandlensepithelialcellshavebeencomparedwithhistonesfromnondividingerythroidcells,andfromdividingfibroblasts;allcellswerederivedfromchickembryos.Lensfiberandlensepithelialnucleicontainaverylargeamountofacharacteristicf1histone,buttheydonothavethespecificf2chistonecharacteristicofthechickerythroidnucleus.Neitherthelensfiberf1histonenorthef2chistonearefoundinfibroblastnuclei.
