[摘要] CellsfromRanapipiensembryoswereincubatedin3H-thymidineforthedurationofthelastquarteroftheSperiodplustheG2periodofthecellcycle.Chromosomesofanimalhemispherecellsofstage9embryosshoweduniformlabeling,whereaschromosomesofendodermalcellsofstage17embryosshowedterminallabeling.WetestedwhethereggcytoplasmwouldalteranestablishedtemporalpatternofchromosomalDNAreplication.Nucleifromdisaggregatedendodermalcellsofstage17embryosweretransplantedintoactivatedandenucleatedeggs.Theeggswerethenallowedtodeveloptotheblastulastage.Animalhemisphereexplantsoftheseblastulaewereincubatedin3H-thymidine.RadioautographiclocalizationofsilverhalidegrainsdemonstratedachromosomalDNAreplicationpatternthatwasuniformoverthethemetaphasechromosomes.TheeggcytoplasmhadevidentlyalteredanestablishedtemporalpatternofchromosomalDNAreplication.
