The content of pyridine dinucleotides in the mouse embryo before implantation☆
[摘要] Nicotinamideadeninedinucleotide(NAD)contentwasfoundtodecreaseinmouseembryosduringcleavageandtoincreaseagainattheblastocyststage.ThefirstenzymeinvolvedinbiosynthesisofNADfromnicotinamideisnicotinamidemononucleotide(NMN)-pyrophosphorylase.Nosuchenzymaticactivitywasfoundintheembryos,butNAD-glycohydrolaseactivitywasrelativelyhigh24–48hoursafterconception.Enzymeactivitydecreasedintheblastocyst.Theresultsarerelevanttounderstandingtheregulationofmetabolisminpreimplantationembryos.
