[摘要] d-Glucosaminefreebaseinhibitedthenormaladhesionandhistogeneticassociationsoftrypsin-dissociated8-to10-daychickneuralretinaandlivercellsinvitro.Theeffectsweredependentonconcentrationandtemperature.CellsculturedwithN-acetylglucosamineformednormalaggregates.Thesuggestionismadethatd-glucosaminefreebaseactsatthecellsurfaceeitherbyblockingtheavailablesitesnormallyoccupiedbyN-acetylglucosamineorbyinterferingwithglucosemetabolismandbiosynthesisofcellsurfacematerialsnecessaryfortheadhesivemechanismsofcellaggregation.Simplecarbohydrateunits,suchasN-acetylglucosamine,mayparticipateinactivitiesatthecellsurfacewhichprovidethebasisforhistotypicaggregation.
