[摘要] TheredistributionofmarksofIndiaink,tantalumwire,orsilksuturesplacedonM.gracilisofthemouseduringpostembryonicgrowthrevealsthatthemuscleincreasesitslengthbyadditionofnewmaterialsatitsattachments.Correlationofthedistributionofmusclenucleilabeledafterbirthwiththymidine-H3andthearrangementoffiberbundlesinserialcrosssectionsoftheentirelengthofthemuscleatvariousintervalsindicatesthatthemacroscopicgrowthpatternsdependsonthatofindividualfibers.
