[摘要] BioassayofnewenzymeformationwasusedinthestudyoftheRNAeffectonmouseascitescells.LiverRNAwascapableofinducingascitescellstomanufacturetryptophanpyrrolase(TPO)andglucose-6-phosphatase,butkidneyRNAwasunabletodoso.Ontheotherhand,K-RNAwasfoundtoinducethebiosynthesisofagreateramountofl-aminoacidoxidasethanL-RNA,thusshowingthatl-aminoacidoxidaseispredominantlykidneyspecific.ThebiosynthesisofTPObythosecellsobtainedfromsuccessiveweeklytransfersofL-RNA-treatedcellsdemonstratedarelativestabilityoftheacquiredproperty.ThisstabilitysuggeststhattheRNA-inducedchangeoccurredatthegeneratherthanatthecytoplasmiclevel.StudyonthemodeofRNAactionhasdisclosedanaffinityofRNAforchromosomes.TheirassociationresultedinarapidreleaseofRNAsynthesizedbythedifferentially“activatedâ€chromosomes.Asaconsequence,therewasageneralincreaseofnewlysynthesizedRNAinthecytoplasm.ThisnewRNAwasresponsiblefortheestablishedincreaseinproductionofspecificenzymes,andthisRNAbiosynthesiswasDNAdependent.ThelattersupportedtheoccurrenceoftheRNA-inducedchangeatthegenelevel.
