[摘要] 1.1.Theobservations,ingeneral,confirmthemorphologicaldetailsofthechickopticvesicleandlensectodermduringthetimewhichinductionofthelensissupposedtotakeplaceasdescribedbyMcKeehan(1951).2.2.Thefinestructureoftheopticvesicleandlensectodermisdescribed.3.3.Aninterepithelialspace,separatingtheopticanlagefromthelensanlage,generally1–3μinwidth,containingfilaments,particles,basementmembrane,andPAS-positiveinterepithelialclouds,ispresentinallstagesinvestigated(stages11through14,inclusive).4.4.ThereisastatisticallysignificantchangeintherelativeabundanceofRNPparticlesbetweentheopticvesicleandlensectoderm,progressingfromagreaterabundanceintheopticvesicleinstages11through13toagreaterabundanceinthelensectodermbystage14.5.5.ThefindingsareinterpretedinthelightofthesuggestionofMcKeehan(1956)thatRNAmaybetransferredfromopticvesicletolensectodermduringinduction.
