[摘要] 1.1.Thispaperdescribesatechniquewhichusesthevitellinemembrane(chorion)ofthechickeneggasasubstratumandasanexchangemembranefororganotypiccultures.2.2.Thevitellinemembraneservesasanintermediarybetweenthenutrientmediumandtheexplants.Itservesasasupportforthelatter,permittingthemtoadherecloselytoitandspreadonitssurface.Thenutritivesubstancesofthemediumdiffuseacrossthismembraneunderconditionswhichassuretheexplantsofaprogressivenutritioncorrespondingtotheirrequirements.3.3.Thistechnique,derivedfromthestandardmethodofEt.WolffandK.Haffen,isparticularlysuitableforfragmentsoforgansorforexplantswhichdonothavetheirownenvelopes.Thevitellinemembraneactsastheirlimitingmembrane.Inadditionitpermitstheexplantstospreadoutonthemediumandtoremainthin,assuringthemofbetternutritionandabetteroxygensupply.4.4.Thetechniqueisadvantageousalsoforthedevelopmentofyoungembryonicrudimentsandforexperimentsinvolvingthereassociationoforgansfollowingthedissociationoftheirconstituenttissues.5.5.Ithasbeenusedsuccessfullyforassociationsbetweenchickembryotissuesandmammaliantumors.Cancercellsofmousesarcomaandthoseofhumantumorstrainsspreadandmultiplyundertheexcellentconditionsinsidethesac,wheretheyareassociatedwithtissuesofthemesonephros.Theirdispersionandtheirproliferationareconsiderablyaugmented.6.6.Finally,thevitellinemembranehasbeenusedasafilterbetweenmesonephrictissuesandcoloniesofcancercells.Thelatterproliferateactively,whichdemonstratesthatsubstancesfavorabletocancerousgrowthareelaboratedbythemesonephrosandthattheycancrossamembranebydialysis.
