Quelques effets du β-mercaptoéthanol et du dithiodiglycol sur la régénération
[摘要] Theeffectsofβ-mercaptoethanolanddithiodiglycol(theformercontainingan-SHgroupandthelatteran-SS-group)onregenerationhavebeenstudiedinfiveanimalspecies.Mercaptoethanolinhibitsregenerationwhiledithiodiglycol(atthoseconcentrationsatwhichitcanbeemployed)hasalmostnoeffect.Mercaptoethylgluconamide,aderivateofmercaptoethanol,cannotpenetrateintothecellsandithasnonoticeableinfluenceonregeneration,exceptatextremelyhighconcentrations.Mercaptoethanolmoderatelyreducesmitoticactivityandbasophiliaintheblastema.However,itstimulatesthesynthesisofRNAwithoutactingonDNAsynthesis.Dithiodiglycoldoesnotmodifymitoticactivity,butitincreasesslightlythebasophiliaoftheregeneratingtissue.ItalsostimulatesRNAsynthesis.Theseresultsarediscussed.
