[摘要] 1.1.Trichodermavirideculturedinpetridisheswillsporulateifgivenashortilluminationafterreachingacertainlevelofmaturation.2.2.Sporulationcanbesuppressedbyfluorouracil(FU)andazaguaninegivenforshortperiodsbeforeorafterphotoinductionwithoutaffectinggrowth.3.3.TheFUsuppressionofsporulationcanbeovercomebyaddinguracil,buturacilwillnotcompetitivelypreventlong-termFUinhibitionofgrowth.4.4.TheRNAofTrichodermawasfractionatedintotheusualspeciesaswellasanultravioletabsorbingpeakintheribosomalregionthatcanberesolvedelectrophoreticallyandonmethylatedalbumincolumnsbutdoesnotappearintheanalyticalultracentrifuge.5.5.FUandazaguanineareincorporatedintoalltypesofRNA(withvaryingspecificities).AnadditionalsRNAiselutedfrommethylatedalbumincolumnsbetweenthe4Sand5SRNA.6.6.PulselabelingwithFUyieldedRNAwiththesameelutionprofileasuracillabeledRNAofuntreatedfungus,suggestingFUincorporationintomessengerRNA.7.7.AlthoughFUisrapidlyincorporatedintoRNA,aconsiderabletimeelapsesbeforethereisaninhibitionoftotalprecursoruptakeaswellastherateoftheuptakeintonucleicacidsandproteins.ItissurmisedfromtheresultsthatphotoinductionofsporulationrequiresRNA-mediatedaction.TheprecisemechanismofFUactionontheRNAisasubjectforfurtherstudy.
