[摘要] GraftsweremadebetweengreenandwhiteindividualsofthespeciesHydraviridis.Ourobjectsweretodeterminewhetherbudsaremovedbymovementoftheparent'sbodywall,thesourcesofcellstakingpartinbudformation,andtheinfluenceofbuddingonthemovementofparentalcells.Budsmovedownthelengthoftheparent'sbuddingregionfasterthangastrodermalcells.Therefore,budsmoveindependentlyofmovementoftheparent'sbodywallasawhole.Parentalgastrodermalcellscanmoveoutontoabudatanystageofitsdevelopmentandfromanyleveloftheparent'sbuddingregionthatthebudjuxtaposes.Budsareproducedatleastinpartfromtheirdistaltotheirproximalendsbytheadditionofparentalcellsfromthedistaltotheproximalbordersofthebuddingregion.Parentalcellsmoveintothebuddingregionduringbudding.Parentalcellsproducedoutsideofthebuddingregionseemtotakepartinbudformation.Parentalgastrodermalcellsinstarvednonbuddinganimalsdonotmovedownwardinthegastricregionastheydoinstarvedorwellfedbuddinganimals.
