[摘要] Specialcelljunctionswerefoundinthevisceralepitheliumofthehumanrenalglomerulusatdeterminedstagesofdifferentiation.Theyarecharacterizedbyagapof180Ã…containinganintercellularmaterialoflowdensitysituatedbetweenparallelcellmembranesandathinelectron-opaquelayerofthesubjacentcytoplasm.Thissimpleorganizationresemblesthatdescribedfortheintermediatejunctionorzonulaadhaerensoftheadultjunctionalcomplexes.Theseembryoniccelljunctionshaveaparticulardistributionandavariablefatedependinguponthestageofprogressinepithelialdifferentiation;atoneperiodtheycoverextensiveareasofcellularsurfaces,andtheydisappearatlaterstagesofdevelopment.Itislikelythatfurtherstudiesofthesetransientjunctionsinembryonictissuesmayhaveabearinguponsomecontroversialpointsconcerningthemechanismofselectivecelladhesion.
