[摘要] IsolatedchromatinoftheseaurchinembryosupportsRNAsynthesiscatalyzedbyexogenousRNApolymerase.Suchchromatin-primedRNAsynthesispossessesthegeneralcharacteristicsknownforDNA-dependentRNAsynthesis.PluteuschromatinismoreactiveinsupportofRNAsynthesisthanisblastulachromatin.Theresultssuggestthatmoregenesareavailablefortranscriptioninpluteuschromatin.RemovalofproteinsassociatedwithDNAinchromatinincreasestemplateactivityandabolishesthedifferenceintemplateactivitybetweenblastulaandpluteuschromatin.Blastulachromatincontainsslightlymorehistonethandoespluteuschromatin,whereasnonhistoneproteincontentissubstantiallygreaterinthelatter.
