Approaches to Study and learning of Students in Ahvaz JundiShapur University of Medical Sciences
[摘要] BackgroundandObjective:Academicsuccessinuniversitiesrequireseffectiveeffort,validstudyandpropertimemanagement.Identificationandstrengtheningthestrategiesandstudyapproachesintheeducationalcenterstofacilitatethelearningprocess,canimprovestudentacademicperformance.ThisstudywasperformedtoinvestigateapproachesandstudyskillsofstudentsinAhvazJundiShapurUniversityofMedicalSciences(AJUMS).SubjectsandMethods:Thisdescriptivestudywasconductedon361studentsofAJUMSin2010.DatacollectedbystandardizedquestionnairesofApproachedandStudySkillsInventoryforStudents(ASSIS).Datawereanalyzedbystatisticaltestsincludedt-test,ANOVAandPearsoncorrelationthroughSPSS-15software.Results:Abouttwothirdsofstudentswerefemaleandover50percentinbachelorandassociatewiththeGradePointAverage(GPA)was16.18.Theaveragescoresofdeepapproach,studentsstudyandstrategiclevel,were,15.18,15.48and13.40ofthemaximum20,respectively.Betweentheaveragescoresofstudentsstudyapproachesandeducationalperformanceinsomeareas,therewasasignificantrelationship(r=-0.167,r=0.137).Nosignificantdifferencewasobservedbetweenmaleandfemalestudentsstudyingapproaches.Conclusion:Studentsuseddeepstudyandstrategicapproachmorethansurfacestudyapproachintheirstudying.Promotionofqualityeducationandimprovinglearningconditionswillrequirethedesignandprovidetrainingtostudentsstudyingapproachestoconsider.
