Evaluation of the Effect of Injection of Bupivacaine in Reducing Nausea and Vomiting after Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery

[摘要] Backgroundandobjectives:Nowadays,usinglaparoscopicsurgery,includinglowerrisks,isbecomingmorecommon.sopatientscangohomeearly.However,nauseaandvomitingaftersurgerybecauseofirritationofthediaphragmandperitonealstretchisveryannoying.appropriatemethodoftreatmentisnecessarytoreducenauseaandvomitingafterlaparoscopicsurgery.Inthisstudy,effectivenessofintraperitonealadministrationofbupivacainetoreducenauseaandvomitingafterlaparoscopiccholecystectomysurgerywasassessed.SubjectsandMethods:inthisrandomized,doubleblindclinicaltrial50patientswereenrolled.Patientswererandomlydividedintotwogroups.Inthenormalsalinegroup,0.5ml/kgof0/45%normalsalineandinbupivacainegroup,0/5mg/Kgbupivacaine0/5%wasinjectedintotheperitonealcavityattheendofsurgery.Theincidencesofnauseaandvomitingwerecomparedat1,2,6and12hrsaftersurgery.Results:Bothgroupswerecomparedintermsofnauseaandvomiting.Nauseadecreasedinbupivacainegroupin1and2hoursaftersurgery(pvalue=0/01).butnochangeswasobservedat6and12.nochangewasobservedinvomitingaftersurgery.Conclusion:Theresultsofthisstudyshowedthatbupivacaineiseffectiveinreducingpost-operativenausea.Thisdrugisalsoeasilyavailable.Itisrecommendedthatitbeusedinlaparoscopiccholecystectomy
