[摘要] BackgroundandObjective:Odontogenickeratocystisadevelopmentalodontogeniccyst.Itistobeconsideredforhistopathologicalfeaturesandclinicalbehavior.Ithasaggressivebehaviorandtendencytorecurrenceandithasbeennamedbenigncysticneoplasm.OKCshavedifferentradiographicappearancesuchasuniloculartomultilocularradiolucency.Insomecases,theyhavebeenobservedintheinterradicularareabutinrarecasestheycanbefoundinperiapicalradiolucencyinapexofnon-vitalteeththatmaybemistakenwithlesionsofendodonticoriginandcausemistreatment.CaseReport:A33yearoldmalepatientcametoclinicbecauseofswellingintheanteriorregionofmandiblethatwasrepairedwithendodontictreatment.Inthehistologicaldiagnosisofradiolucentlesion,inflamedodontogenickeratocystwasreported.Conclusion:Diagnosisbasedonclinicalfindingmayriskybecauseitcanleadtoinappropriatetreatment.Inmostofthecases,microscopicexaminationofallmaterialsurgicallyremovedisnecessaryfordiagnosis.Thisisespeciallyrecommendedwhentreatmentoflesionisnotsuccessfulwithroutinetreatment.
