Comparison of working memory between Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ADHD and normal children
[摘要] BackgroundandObjective:TheaimofthisresearchwastostudytheworkingmemorybetweenAttention-DeficitHyperactivityDisorder(ADHD)andnormalchildren.SubjectsandMethods:Theresearchmethodwascausalcomparisonandexposefactor.FromatotalpopulationofAhvazmaleschoolchildren,59studentswerescreenedforADHD.Then,42studentswithADHDwereselectedrandomly.Inaddition,42normalstudentswererandomlyselectedascontrolgroup.TheinstrumentswereCanner’sQuestionnaire,RavenProgressiveMatricesTestandWorkingMemoryIndex(WMI).WeusedMANOVAtoanalyzethedata.Results:TheresultsrevealedthattherewasasignificantdifferencebetweenworkingmemorycapacityinADHDandnormalchildren(Plt;0.001).InADHDchildren,therateofworkingmemoryperformanceanditssubscalesweresignificantlylowerthannormalchildren.Conclusion:Theworkingmemoryperformanceanditssubscalesweresignificantlylowerthannormalchildrenwere.
