[摘要] Thisstudy,conductedintheregionofSofia(westernBulgaria),investigatedactivitypatternsofjuvenileWoodchatShrikesLaniussenatorafterfledging.Timespenttoflying,socialinteractions,groundhuntingandsolitarilybehaviourincreasedwithage,whilethetimespentfoodbegging,obtainingfoodfromadults,andstayingclose(lt;1m)toadultbirdsdecreasedwithage.Occupationofconcealedperch-sitesdecreasedwithagewhereasuseofexposedlookoutpostsincreased.YoungWoodchatShrikesbecameincreasinglyindependentatanageofabout30days.After45daystheywerenotfedbyparentsatall.
