[摘要] Spatialandtemporaldistributionsofresourcesandhabitatsofteninfluencebreedingsystems.Theseinfluencesareparticularlyrelevantinthosespeciesthatexhibitvariablebreedingsystems.Westudiedsuchaspecies,thePendulineTitRemizpendulinus.Thissmallpasserinebirdhassequentialpolygamybybothsexes,andevidencesuggestsintensesexualconflictbetweenmalesandfemalesovercare.Weestimatedhabitatstructurebyscoringthevegetationimportantfornestbuildingandforagingintheimmediatesurroundingsofthenest.Usingfourprincipalcomponentsweshowthatsiteswithmoreabundantvegetationareoccupiedearlierthansiteswithsparsevegetation.However,habitatstructuredoesnotpredictmatingsuccessorreproductivesuccess,anditneitherpredictswhichparent(themale,thefemaleorboth)desertstheclutch.WethereforesuggestthathabitatstructuredoesnothaveadirecteffectonreproductivesuccessorontheresolutionofsexualconflictinPendulineTits.Specificaspectsofhabitats,suchasfoodandnestmaterialavailability,remaintobetested.
