J-Net Galactic-Plane Survey of VLBI Radio Sources for VLBI Exploration of Radio Astrometry (VERA)
[摘要] InordertosearchfornewVLBIsourcesinthegalacticplanethatcanbeusedasphasereferencesourcesindifferentialVLBI,weconducted22GHzobservationsofradiosourcesinthegalacticplaneusingtheJapaneseVLBINetwork(J-Net).Wehaveobserved267VLBIsourcecandidatesselectedfromexistingradiosurveysandhavedetected93sourcesatasignal-to-noiseratiolargerthan5.While42ofthe93detectedsourceshadalreadybeendetectedwithVLBIatrelativelylowerfrequency(typically2to8GHz),theremaining51arefoundtobenewVLBIsourcesdetectedforthefirsttime.Thesearelocatedwithin|b|≤5°,andhavealargenumberofgalacticmasersourcesaroundthem.Thus,theyarepotentialcandidatesforphasereferencesourcesforVLBIExplorationofRadioAstrometry(VERA),whichisthefirstVLBIarraydedicatedtophase-referencingVLBIastrometryaimedatmeasuringtheparallaxandpropermotionofmasersourcesinthewholeGalaxy.
